The mission of the Herb Society of southeast Michigan is to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive community that celebrates the wisdom and beauty of herbalism. We strive to promote the ethical use of plants for wellness, support education grounded in traditional knowledge and science, and steward the earth through sustainable practices. Through workshops, apprenticeships, garden projects, and peer-supported learning, we empower individuals to connect with plants, one another, and themselves in meaningful ways.
